Using Categories Effectively
Whether you have created your first listing or not, it is important to use the categories provided effectively. Effectively meaning, placing your business listing in multiple categories. The beauty of our system is that it allows you to place your listing in one category or multiple categories, even if you have only purchased one listing.
Main Categories and Subcategories
The system provides main categories and subcategories, from which users can choose. For example, in the Product Creation category(which is a main category), there are also subcategories like assessments. lesson plans, app creation, presentations, worksheets, workbooks and more. In the Teaching and Tutoring category, there are also associated subcategories like math, music, reading and more. When creating your listing, you can place your business in the main category by simply selecting a main category, in addition to selecting other subcategories when you are registering This will give your more visibility on the site.
Not All Categories are Created Equally
All categories do not have subcategories. When there is a main category but no subcategory, you can simply place your listing in the main category. When there is a subcategory that applies to your listing, place it in the subcategory…but also place it in the main category. Sometimes we can look at what applies to us specifically and disregard the rest. Make the most of your listing and select all applicable categories.
